The Green Team’s owner/managing broker and her partner/husband, Dave Sanders believe in consuming less, saving more, and recycling and re-using whenever possible. She, her partner and her company are on a mission to help preserve our walk on this planet by evolving her own home and investment properties into more eco-friendly homes, and by helping clients of The Green Team Real Estate do the same. It is their sincerest hope that readers of this blog will join the cause, comment freely, and guest-blog to share their own green project stories, secrets and tips.
Lara is a Certified Eco-Broker, and Founder and Managing Broker of The Green Team Real Estate, the first and only brokerage in Northern Colorado focused on eco-friendly homes. She is on the Steering Committee of the local branch of the US Green Building Council, sits on the Board of the Rocky Mountain Sustainable Living Association and participates in the Sustainability Committee at the local Fort Collins Board of Realtors. She is also the organizer of Green Drinks Fort Collins, the local branch of the international networking group for green-minded people. In her (limited) free time you might find her skiing, mountain biking, gardening, or just generally enjoying the outdoors in Colorado.
Dave is a director of business development for Ergotron. When he is not engaged in Ergotron business, or up in the mountains biking, hiking or snowboarding, he is Head Cheerleader for The Green Team Real Estate and Master of Eco-Friendly Projects for Lara and Dave’s home and investment properties (except, of course, for those projects over which he has no mastery…those are wisely contracted out to competent professionals in the Fort Collins area).
